Baisani koftay 


Ingredients
  • Mince chicken 1/2kg
  • Yogurt 250g
  • Gram flour 175g
  • Onions 2
  • Coriander ¼ bunch
  • Green chilies 2-3
  • Red chili powder 1tsp
  • Turmeric 1tsp
  • Cumin 1/2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Sliced garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Salt as required
  • Oil as required
  • Water 1 1/2l
Method:-
  • In a food processor chop together the mince chicken, ginger garlic paste, 1onion, green chilies, coriander leaves and a pinch of salt.Shape the mixture into small dumplings.In a bowl add the yogurt and mix in the gram flour, water , turmeric and red chili powder.In a wok heat 2-3 tbsp oil and sauté the remaining chopped onions until they soften.Pour the gram flour mixture and allow to cook on a low flame. If the mixture thickens quickly add some more water.
  • When the mixture begins to thicken add the chicken koftas and simmer.In a separate pan heat ¼ cup oil and add 6-7 whole red chilies,2-3 sliced cloves of garlic, and 1/2tso cumin. Fry until the ingredients begin to splutter. Pour the temper over the koftay and serve hot.
